At Cherish Child Care: Early Years Learning, we believe in nurturing the whole child — mind, body, and spirit. Our Mindfulness & Yoga program introduces calming practices that build focus, resilience, self‑awareness, strong posture, and overall wellbeing. Through age‑appropriate yoga and mindful breathing, children learn to stay grounded, relaxed, and confident.
Before nap or rest time, children enjoy a gentle mindfulness experience. Simple activities — like focusing on their breath, noticing different parts of their body, and listening to surrounding sounds — help them tune into the present moment with curiosity and calm. Each session ends with a light stretch, leaving children refreshed, centred, and ready to learn.
